the Val di Chiana. Pag. 51: "The Chianina breed is named
after the Val Di Chiana, the Tuscan valley where this kind of
cattle can be found. According to some experts, the Chianina is
nothing but the maremmana breed, improved by better general conditions
(food etc.) in which cattle are raised nowadays."
