	Description of the illustration The first edition was published in 1902, the second in 1917. With the present edition the author's intention was to enrich his work with new information, in order to update it according to the recent changes in Europe's geographical structure, due to WWI.It is a very detailed work, which describes the different breeds of farm animals, divided according to which country they are from, focusing mainly on Europe, but also mentioning breeds coming from the rest of the world. The bibliography at the end of the work is also of great interest.
